How to Start Mass Tariff Classification

Mass tariff classification is a powerful feature that allows you to classify large sets of products efficiently. This guide will walk you through the steps to get started with mass tariff classification.

Step 1️⃣: Prepare Your Data

Before you can start classifying products, you need to prepare your data. Ensure that you have an Excel file containing the product information you want to classify. The file should at least include columns for product descriptions, reference_id, search web (true / false), direction (EX / IM) and any other relevant details.

Step 2️⃣: Upload Your Data and Start Classification

Once your data is prepared, you can upload it to the TariffPilot platform. Navigate to the batch section and select the option to upload your Excel file. Click on New Job -> Check Excel and choose your file. Then, select one of the LLMs available for mass classification and click on Import Excel. The system will process your file and start with the classification process.

Step 3️⃣: Review and Download Results

Results

The TariffPilot now starts with the classification process. Once the classification is complete, you can review the results directly in the platform. You will see the classified products along with their tariff codes and any additional information provided by the TariffPilot. You can also download the results in PDF format for further analysis or record-keeping.
