Export Control Classification

Export control classification checks whether your goods are subject to export control regulations — Armaments or Dual-Use — using the ClassificationPilot. It is a separate workflow from customs tariff classification, with its own quota and its own permissions.

Who may create and view export control classifications is controlled by the Classification Proposals roles; see Invitations and Roles. Export control classifications can also be created programmatically — see the classification_proposals endpoints in the REST API.
